At present it’s a very noisy world. It’s very diffi cult to get anyone to notice our brand. When they do we need to be very clear on what we want them to know
about our business.

Last year I wrote about the creative process in marketing. In 2011 I’m talking about the value marketing can add to your business, your brand and your bottom line.

Most businesses have spent two years looking closely at costs, reducing overheads and streamlining. Not a bad thing.

Some brands in the South East, however, have suffered from neglect. While the business is still viable the value of the brand has been diminished and may lead to the value of your company following suit.

Now, we are all clearly fi xed on the future and key to our future is re-engaging with our markets and explaining to them what our brand is all about.

It’s time to talk to our clients and tell them who we are and what we feel. I’d like to start by talking about what Impact is all about in 2011.

For our team, the coming year is focused on working with people who are passionate about their business. People who want to move forward, capture and
endear themselves to their market, build great companies, work with great companies and really make a difference.

This year we want to be responsible for creating and developing great brands in the South East. Quite simply we don’t do mediocre. It’s not in our nature and any client working with Impact will engage a team of the most passionate, enthusiastic and experienced strategic and creative minds in the South East.

Oh, and also. brands don’t need to cost a fortune to build. But they do need passion as a foundation.
